Meditation for Depression, Anxiety and Stress
A ten-week course designed for people who experience recurrent depression, anxiety or stress. Recent studies have shown that mindfulness meditation used with elements from cognitive therapy (MBCT) is helpful in preventing relapse into depression and reducing stress and anxiety. At Evolution Arts & Natural Heath (with Taravajra)
Taravajra teaches mindfulness meditation for those dealing with depression, anxiety and stress. He runs 10 week courses in Mindfulness based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT). He is a very experienced teacher of MBCT courses and has completed a masters degree in Mindfulness based approaches to healthcare from Bangor University. Taravajra is now an accredited teacher for the Centre for Mindfulness Research and Practice at Bangor University.

Winter 2011

10 Monday evenings 7.15 - 9.15pm
starting 16 January

Cost: £130 (no concessions) per course

10 Tuesday afternoons 2.30 - 5.00pm
starting 17 January

Cost: £130 (£85 concessions) per course

Mindfulness Days 2012

Days of yoga and mindful meditation (10.30am – 4.00pm)

Saturday 3rd March and Sunday July 22nd at Unit 4, 26 Roundhill Street (near Ditchling Road) Brighton BN2 3RG (www.unit4brighton.co.uk)

On these days we will practise yoga to prepare the body for sitting. This combination is highly traditional! The mindfulness practices will be drawn from the 8 week MBCT course
